More Megapixels for Bigger Prints?

Q: The pixels are visible when I make prints over 12×18-inches from my 6.3MP camera. Do I need to get a camera with more megapixels to make bigger prints?

A: Before you go shopping for an upgrade, try setting your camera to shoot RAW, not JPEG. Then convert those files to TIFFs, use Adobe Photoshop’s Image Size (set to Bicubic Smoother) to upsize, and then sharpen while viewing your photo at 50%. Chances are your prints will look pretty good when you check them out at least six inches away.

Lily’s Haircut

Ok. . . I couldn’t help it. I had to take pictures of this little clown. I’m not a big fan of frou frou bows and stuff. . . but she looked sooooooooooo cute. I love this dog.

Wedding photos, photoshop action, floral pop photoshop brushes!!!

Well. . . I have been busy editing photos from a wedding i just shot. I will put up some of my favorites. . . there are just sooooooooo many pictures. . . pictures should be up in the next few days and i will include a wedding action as well. . .

Also Floral Pop II Photoshop brushes are almost ready!!! I can’t wait to release them. . . Here is one picture of just one of the brushes. . .
